I'm not sure Cannon AFB Fire Department knew what they were getting, having two Battalion Chiefs from Vandenberg AFB Fire Department assisting them in conducting prescribed burning at Cannon AFB.
I left Sean alone for two minutes with a drip torch and look what happened.
What a great trip! We assisted them in burning 200 acres of grassland on a new target range. We finished in two days despite the winds giving us a hard time. They were forecasted to be too high to burn. They turned out to be to calm and when we did have the wind it was erratic. With a little ingenuity we managed to get it all burned.
And we get paid to do this!!
